(11/24/2004) Please pray for my dad (Perlen Ababa). He is being rushed to the hospital (in the Philippines) looks like he has a Kidney infection. The timing has been so unfortunate because of the fact that there is a nationwide transport strike right now and none of my family members can be with him because there is no way for them to be with him. He is away on a mission trip and they had to send him to the nearest city because of his illness. Please pray for his healing. And also please pray for the transport strike to end so that my mom can be with him. Thank you.
(11/30/2004) Thank you so much for the prayers. Yesterday my dad was discharged from the hospital and he is feeling much better. It turned out to be a plethora of things…dengue fever, enlarged prostrate, infection in the right kidney, high blood sugar. It’s a miracle he is still alive. God is really good and He answers prayers. Please continue praying for his continued healing. God Bless everyone.

(10/24/2004) Last night at 2:00am my boyfriend Adam lost his Acura Integra. We were at a house and when we went to leave, we saw his back end of his car had been crashed into. The alignment was off and his tire was completely turned. Thank God I was there to calm him down...I feel so much closer to him. I love him so much, but I don't understand why this happened to him. He's the best person I know...he would never hurt anyone or deceive anyone. He doesn't deserve this "bad luck". He will never be able to drive it again and he had just gotten it back from the last accident 2 weeks before. It's his baby. He put at least 10 grand into it on repairs. "sigh" I have to get a car now...I'm saving all my money. He lost everything in that...just because of some drunk driver. Pray that when I go out tonight, I can find the blue cavalier that hit him. I want to bust them so desperately. Just pray that he doesn't have to spend his life savings on another car....please.

(9/8/2004) My nephew, Corbin, was born on the 20th of July with only half a heart; a condition called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, or HLHS. He has already undergone one open-heart surgery during which a shunt was placed and will require at least two more surgeries before the age of 2. He is now in the hospital, via the ER, for the second time since he's been home. This little guy has spent five of his seven weeks of life in the hospital. Please pray for wisdom for the doctors, nurses, and med staff. As well as for his parents, Travis and Terri. Also, please pray for Terri and Travis' other three children (my nephews) Gunnar 5, Aiden 3, and Brodie 2.

(7/3/2004) Bo Jeanes, in OK, will be hospitalized this week for tests to determine whether his heart can tolerate surgery to do a biopsy from sites in his chest that are questionable. Most of the signs point to cancer. Asking for spiritual and physical strength and healing.
(Dale - Also pray for healing for Carol: I'm finally starting to feel stronger and like a real person. Not so very wiped out. I still get tired, but am able to do much more.)

(3/31/2004) My grandfather's surgeries went well. They postponed his other 2 CABGs until he recovers. Right now, he's moved to a rehabilitation center near the hospital. Thank you all for your prayers.
(2/16/2004) My paternal grandfather, 80+, just went through 2 CABGs (coronary artery bypass graft (surgery)). My parents went to the hospital to visit him on Monday and they returned home very late. They said that he had a very slim chance hanging on cause he was really weak and in so much pain. He actually almost passed away during the surgery. My mom went to visit him this morning and reported that he is able to breathe without the tubes and he can speak coherantly. However, the doctors said that he still needs to go through 2 more CABGs. Please pray for my dad's side of the family. The've been working/schooling and visiting, in rotations, my grandfather... and they're exhausted.
Also, they're not Christian... I don't know how... but somehow, someway, I need to get to my grandfather and save him. I've already lost an uncle this past May.. and I feel responsible for the rest of my family, making sure that I will see them again in heaven.

(2/27/2004) Umm I have a prayer request. My friend, who is only 14, has been fighting a cancer in his muscle, rhabdomyosarcoma, since he was born. He just recently had an operation which left the left side of his face partially paralyzed and with little to no hearing in the left ear, not to mention the large scars from incisions, skin graft from the stomach to the neck, and a nerve graft from his ankle to his face. There was question about whether or not he'd be able to keep both arteries going to his brain...but God answered our prayers and they were able to keep both. As you can see this was a major surgery, 11 hours. They thought it would possibly be the cure for good..but just a week ago or less they found a new tumor on the right side of his neck and he goes back Monday to talk about what should be done. I just ask that you keep him in your prayers because right now they don't have a very positive outlook for his future.

(2/10/2004) ting is only 14. she's the daughter of our cell member. a month ago the doctor found a tumor attached to her hipbone. it was so hard that initially we thought it was part of her hipbone, till it started to hurt.she went through a operation to remove it and the op was very successful. we though that would be the last we hear about cancer. yesterday we got a text msg from her parents to tell us that her liver has been infected to. please pray for her. they're very young christians, and this is truly a test upon their faith.

-- my cousin, who is 16, has been diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma cancer - again. He had it when he was 6 and had his leg amputated at the ankle. Now he has 3 brain tumors, 1 on his kidney, and they are doing chemo and radiation. He's been feeling very poor, and I pray for him to feel peace. He is a Christian also.
-- My uncle has hepatitis C in some of the worst stages. his liver is almost completely cirrhosed and they can't transplant until the disease is gone. He isn't a Christian, but i want to pray for his healing, peace, and for him to see the Lord.
-- my best friend's parents are having big marriage struggles. she is a christian, but i don't think her father is. he moved out and is going to counseling but it doesn't seem like the damage is repairable. please, just pray that she will feel Jesus' loving embrace as she faces these problems.

(1/25/2004) please remember in your prayers my best friend's grandmother - she is diabetic and has been having poor circulation in her legs, and today after much prayer and confusion, she decided to have it amputated. it's going to be a long time of growth, recovery, and pain for her! Please pray for her strength, as well as for the strength of her family.

(11/24/2003) my dad has multiple sclerosis. This morning at 3am he went into hospital with a chest infection.... please pray for him, both for his physical health, and for his spiritual health. He hasn't been able to communicate in a long while... an elder from my old church visits him a lot but I really don't know where my dad is on this.
Please also pray for my family... there's every possibility that he'll get over this, but he might not.
(11/10/2003) my friend Tim has a reading week this week, when supposedly he gets to catch up on all his work, unfortunately his week is filling up bigstyle with stuff and he has masses to do. I just spoke to him on the phone, cos we need to arrange a practice for later in the week... he says he has to write 1000 words for this coming Monday and is in real need of some inspiration, as tomorrow is really the only day he is going to be able to put some solid work in on it. so if you could keep him in your prayers that would be great.

(12/12/2003) Could you please pray for my best friend? She has been playing soccer since before I can remember--and I've known her almost my entire life! And she's extremely good! I just recieved word that she tore her acl and she cannot play any sport--let alone soccer--for SIX months!! PLEASE!! pray for her speedy recovery and that her surgergy goes well! For her family and for her sanity! I know it will be very tough on her to not be able to play soccer and have to sit on the sidelines and watch her teammates, including her sister!, play without her!

She is now going through her second session of Chemo for Hepititis 3. Each day is one of misery and facing the challenges of the side effects. Also, if I may ask in private, so don't post this part as it would embarrass her. I pray for them to find a way for food money. Her medical bills are so built up that there is no money for food. I have sent what I can, but it for sure isn't enough. She needs good nutrition to get well. It is for sure I pray constantly, but two or more and He will be with us.......lol, He always is anyway!

(10/27/2003) Please pray for my friend Bryan, He is sick with Crohn's Disease and it is really serious. I knew him since 6th grade and I really feel bad for him. All I can do is to pray for him. He's not the same old Bryan that was always happy like before. He's going to Chicago to get a stem cell transplant and please pray that it will be successful and his body will accept the transplant. I completely totaled my car so for now I'm without transportation, and the meds that the hospital has me on are not making me feel any better. (10/04/2003) There was just another bombing here in the land (Israel). This one happened to be in my city, Haifa. It happened about 45 minutes ago. We are just getting more information about it on the TV right. We are all praying that the Lord would even now intervene. So far there are at least 15 dead and over 50 injured. In something like this, the number continue to rise for quite some time. This is always a very emotional time for us. We all understand why these things happen, but are getting tired it being a part of life. We refuse to get used to it, but struggle to not become numb. Please stand with us in prayer during this time. This nation is constantly being shaken and we know that "in all these things the Lord works for the good of him who trust in him AND are are called according to his purposes." We already have the victory; the enemy has lost!

(10/02/2003) I would appreciate prayer for Anna Vandamar. She was a student at Valley Christian Academy. Her older brother was in my class. He was a stinker and their mother was a very disagreeable woman, but somehow Anna was a really sweet girl that everyone loved. About 2 years ago it was discovered that she had cancer in her arm. When other treatments did not arrest the advance of the disease, surgery was done. A large portion of the side of her arm was removed, leaving it quite disfigured. Now Anna is a high school student and the cancer has returned. She has tumors on her kidneys, liver and in her lungs. She is a very sick girl. Thank you for taking a moment to lift her up in prayer.

(10/02/2003) hi. please please pray for my friend in ohio. he is 16 and on saturday, they found a cancerous tumor in his head. on monday, he went into surgery so the doctors could take a sample of the tumor and they found two more in his spine and two in his head. all four tumors are growing rapidly. in a few days he will be going into chemo. they're giving him powerful dosages of chemo because he already went through large amounts of radiotherapy when he was eight and the doctors don't think it is safe to give him any more. My friend is not saved. He says he's afraid of dying. Please pray that God will speak to his heart, as well as the hearts of his parents and loved ones, and that he will be filled with God's amazing peace. There is still so many awesome things that he could experiance and do with his life when he does come to know God and his life is so full of meaning and purpose. God is so great and powerful and good and He definately listens to the cries of His children so please pray. even if its just now, while you're reading this. Each prayer is so powerful and held so dear in God's heart. thanks guys...

(10/1/2003) We just went through a category 1 Hurricane (Juan) here in Nova Scotia , Canada. Suffice to say we were less than prepared. Massive damage and power outages due to high winds, lots off trees down across power lines. This happened Sunday evening at Approx 10 EST. I still have no power at home. Please keep my province in your prayers, especially all the emergency and essential workers (yours truly included ). Please pray for my dad with his wedding...he hasn't known this woman very long, but she is really nice, so I just want to ask that you all pray that things work out with them. Also, pray for my brother who is in college...he just broke up with his girlfriend and he might've already met a nice Christian girl, which is awesome! Please pray for my mom...she is still with her boyfriend and now they just don't talk. Pray that she finds a way to go on without him. One last request, please pray for a guy in my new youth group. I don't exactly know his name, but he had an asthma attack last week and was in the hospital until yesterday. Please pray for his health and for his family to get through this tough time. (9/10/2003) One of my best guy friends from middle school got in a horrible car crash today, his brother was driving way too fast over a hill and when they went over a garbage truck was there collecting (they were mid-air because of the speed, some teenage rush i guess and obviously couldn't break)My friend apparently died on the scene but was revived and him and his friend in the back were life flighted to a hospital. They think the guy in the back will be ok but they aren't sure if my friend (his name is Kyle) is going to make it. From back when I knew him really well, (2 years ago) he wasn't a christian. I believe it was at the onset of all I'm still facing now ... but do you think you could possibly, please add me to your prayer list for a week or so? If I don't find work within a few days, many bad things are going to happen, I'm a bit scared, more than a bit - and very frustrated and overwhelmed. Although my beliefs vary from the beliefs of others - I do believe in the power of prayer, bc I do believe in light, energy, good/evil, spirits and positive karma. I could use as much help as I can possibly get right now, it's bad. I'm fighting back, but I'm tired and I'm not doing a god job of winning this battle. (1/20/2003)I'm not sure where to send you prayer requests...but I have one for my brother and his wife and kids. Neither he or his wife are believers and my greatest prayer request is that they will come to know Christ and stop living the awful sinful lives that they do. I worry so much about their little boys and baby daughter, it greatly saddens me to see the way they are raised. I don't want to get into too many details because I would end up just going on and on here...but they are in the grip of satan and Jesus is needed so badly in their lives!

(8/19/2003) Please pray that my blood test for recurring thyroid cancer is negative for any cancer or regrowth. (I am 37 with 3 little ones, or else i wouldn't really care. I always care about leaving the kids in this secular world...as any good Christian parent worth his/her salt would, no? lol) Thank you! Prayers for all you and yours as well.
